Peter grew up in Grand Rapids, Michigan where he developed his love of all things outdoors, spending every available moment camping, fishing, and skiing. He received his undergraduate degree at the University of Michigan where he also played lacrosse, receiving the team leadership award during an undefeated championship season. As a management consultant with A.T. Kearney, Peter advised clients in the energy, automotive, retail, and CPG industries. While earning an MBA at the University of Chicago, Peter joined the early-stage technology startup Snapsheet, the auto industry’s first mobile insurance claims solution. As Executive Vice President, Peter led strategy, operations and technology initiatives, helping Snapsheet grow to over 200 employees and 35 insurance carrier clients. At Burke America, Peter leads the consumer businesses through online B2C platforms and integrated e-commerce partnerships. Peter brings deep operational and technology leadership experience to the team, having managed and built service and fulfillment operations, as well as leading major software development initiatives as product owner and scrum master of agile development teams. Peter has led the company’s digital transformation initiatives and strategic partnerships with OEMs, retailers, extended warranty companies, and third-party servicers. Outside of the office, Peter spends as much time as he can with his wife Amelia, two young sons Connor and Rowan, and their black lab George.
